Hello! I am Rhonda Ford. I am a semi retired oncology nurse. I have always liked to organize events. I have organized many fund raisers for cancer awareness as well as silent auctions and carnivals for my children’s schools. My great grandmother, Big Mamma, quilted. She sold her quilts for 2.00 each in the 1920s. She still had some of these when I was growing up in the 60’s/70’s. They were made with old clothes and blue jeans. You could not kick those covers off if you wanted to! My mom sewed clothes for me when I was small and I took homemaking and learned to sew as well. My first attempt at quilting was for the history fair in 7 th grade. My quilted pillow won first place! Fast forward many years and my mom joined a group of quilters that quickly became our friends. These ladies are so kind and thoughtful. They share their insights and wisdom unconditionally. I have enjoyed quilting ever since. However,I noticed that I loved collecting fabric more. It was the planning and ideas that I have that brings me joy. So I decided to open up my own online quilt store. I’ve never been so excited and frightened at the same time ! Lol.

So here I am planning live Facebook events for my store and coordinating beautifully unique fabrics together. I hope you find something in my store that you like. If you can’t find it contact me and I will help you even if it’s sending you to another vendor. Because that is what life is all about; helping each other,being kind and sharing new ideas and gifts.
